Character Ideation
Not a lot of people know this, but when she was younger she was actually a serial shoplifter.
Not a lot of people know this, but Dad is bisexual. He hasn’t actually said it outloud but after a few drinks he will confess to “experimenting in college”.. And considering going back for his masters degree.
Not a lot of people know this, but they actually never loved each other. It was a green card marriage.
Character Modeling
Lyla's Room
Lylas room exists in two houses simultaneously, her mom’s (red), and her dad’s (blue). Each side is nearly a mirror versions of the other, but reflecting the respectful parent.
A tear separates the sides, revealing void underneath.

The Void is a space between Lyla's red and blue rooms. It is a place within her mind for her to confront both sides of herself and discover who she truly is outside of her parents' idea of her.
